Welcome To Maple Heights, Ohio

The Maple Heights Historical Society is a non-profit organization committed to maintaining and sharing the history of the City of Maple Heights and its residents and fostering a deeper appreciation of our community free of charge through the operation of the Little Red Schoolhouse Museum.
The museum is open to visitors, June through September, from 7 p.m.—9 p.m., on Monday and Wednesday as well as by appointment anytime by calling
216-215-5982.

Meeting Schedule
Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. from May through September @ the museum and April & October @ the Maple Heights Regional Library.
(No meetings are held November through March)

  • Produced a local history DVD
  • Provided contact information for Class Reunions committees
  • Restoration of senior class composite pictures

The museum is sole repository for all local memorabilia from city hall, police and fire departments and local public schools. In addition, the museum has collections from local civic and fraternal organizations, local businesses, churches and early community founders.
